Abstract

The article deals with the needs of reform in public education during the years of independence and the meaning of these reforms in public life of people. There is detailed description of steps and results of reforms in the Karakalpak context. It was widely analyzed the evaluation of the reforms by international experts and the benefits of the “Uzbek Model” development. The article gives the information about first steps of the reform which dealt with many difficulties in education system. There were shortages of school buildings, lack of books in light of national ideology and independent country, laboratories, information technologies in schools. For the short of time with the financial help of international organizations there were solved these problems in the sphere of education. Moreover, these achievements were highly assessed by international organizations. These pro- gresses of Independent Uzbekistan's in education system have a great historical importance and also they are invaluable resources for the scholars or historians who study the newest history of the Sovereign Country
