One of the areas of professional training of professionals should be the formation of teachers' readiness for innovation that would allow them to fully demonstrate their individual creative abilities, realize their intellectual potential, apply the full range of knowledge, skills and skills to fulfill innovative tasks. Indicators of the teacher's readiness for innovation are determined. The components of teacher readiness for innovative professional activity are proposed.
