PIANO CONCERT OF THE XVIII-XIX CENTURIES: STYLISTIC TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE GENRE

The article covers the development of the genre of piano concerto from the Baroque to Romantic era. Various types of concerts, its genre-style, structural-compositional and performing features are considered. The peculiarities of the genre in the process of crystallization are revealed. Technical and artistic techniques, the transformation of form, the development of artistic dramaturgy are analyzed. The application of the new technical capabilities of the piano, the influence of the virtuoso aspect on the concert and the ensemble interaction of the soloist with the orchestra are covered.
