TO THE PROBLEM OF COGNITIVE INTEREST OF STUDENTS

The article is devoted to the group of methods of learning stimulating and motivating which have not been often studied in the theory of didactics but are of great importance for the increasing of the efficiency of the educational and cognitive activity of students. To characterize the methods of formation of cognitive interest included in this group the article defines such notions as “interest” and “motive”, quotes from the works of Ya. A. Komensky, K. D. Ushinsky, L. N. Tolstoy. The views of modern psychologists and teachers are character- ized. The description of the teaching methods which enable emotional stimulating of learning given in the article is interesting
