Abstract

The epidemic of non-communicable lung diseases (NLDs), which include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma, while continuing to expand rapidly, is causing a global burden of disease. The object of research is to identify the global burden of NLDs, its determinants and trends. The materials. Data from the annual health statistics for 2014-2016. The results. The prevalence of respiratory disease in the adult population was 789.8 per 10 thousand in the study period at the same level, the share of non-infectious diseases of the lungs is 21.2 % in the structure of respiratory diseases. The incidence of non-communicable diseases of the lungs showed a tendency to decrease from 170.7 in 2014 to 167.5 per 10 thousand in 2016, the number of first recognized disabled due to noncommunicable lung diseases decreased from 7.3 to 6.6 per 100 thousand, mortality rates decreased from 25.1 to 23.1 per 100 thousand population. The conclusion. The introduction of a personalized and multidisciplinary approach to treatment, taking into account international and national clinical recommendations, has determined the trend of reducing the consequences of non-communicable lung diseases and reducing its global burden.
