Abstract

The paper shows the analysis of indicators of work of nurses of military medical institutions. The study involved 200 nurses of the surgical department of the military medical institution, as well as 600 patients were treated in a military medical institution. In the analysis of the staffing, it was found that the staff of nurses is fully staffed. The department has a full range of modern drugs, including the latest generations, to improve the quality of life and the prognosis of the disease in each individual patient. All surveyed nurses work full-time, 10 % of them work in terms of internal alignment – on duty at night. The main problems include: nurses work with high load (overload), which leads to a decrease in the time of communication with patients and, accordingly, reduce the quality of nursing care, working time is distributed irrationally, a significant part of it is spent on official conversations, transportation of patients, the supply of the workplace with medicines and supplies, courier duties, the main functions of the ward nurse are reduced to the implementation of manipulations and doctor's appointments without individual care., the absence of evaluation criteria for certain types of nursing activities makes it difficult to objectively assess the quality of the nursing process.
