An analytical review of the current scientific literature on this issue has been completed. Results. It is noted that in the conditions of global warming and temperature increasing in Ukraine in the summer to 40 and more degrees Celsius, the problem of architectural and planning regulation of the microclimate acquires special significance, as in countries with a hot climate. The ways of the influence of various natural and climatic factors on the city microclimate and the possibility of reducing this influence for improving the human life safety in the urban environment are considered.
