Abstract

This article is a continuation of studies of the toroidal current layer in a plasma vortex and the internal injection of high-speed ions, started in the article ("Science and the World". 2018. No. 8 (60)). A quantitative study of the induction gas discharge "inverse theta-pinch" capable of forming a toroidal current layer with escaping electrons in a plasma vortex for generation a flow of high-speed ions with a density sufficient to provide intense nuclear reactions was carried out.
