THE WAYS OF IMPROVING THE TRANSPORT ORGANIZATION

The use of logistics achievements in transport is the key to improving the efficiency of the domestic transport complex and enhancing its integration into the world transport system. Nowadays, more than ever, the task of increasing the transportation load, improving the economic efficiency of numerous domestic freight and passenger carriers and freight forwarders; and not only on internal lines. As evidenced by foreign experience, a qualitative “jump” in the transport sector can be achieved only through the use of new technologies of ensuring the transportation processes that meet modern requirements and high international standards, in particular, by expanding the development of logistics thinking and principles of logistics. Transport logistics as a new methodology of optimization and organization of rational cargo flows, and processing in specialized logistics centers allows to increase the efficiency of such flows, reduce unproductive costs and expenses, and transport workers – to be modern, meet the needs of more and more demanding customers and market.
