Abstract
The article analyzes the agronomic characters of new varieties of cotton, depending on infectious background. In the process of the conducted researches, a number of varieties of cotton, having superiority over the sowed grades in the conditions of the southern regions of Kazakhstan on growing season length, productivity, fibre yield and fibre length was allocated.
