Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of the bipolar system of traction power supply of alternating current of the two-track section of the electrified railway and its research on the mathematical model in MatLab/Simulink. The peculiarity of the considered variant of the system is the transmission of energy to electric trains with an increased voltage of 50 kV. Transmission of energy on the traction network of electric trains is still carried out with a voltage of 25 kV, and the electric power transmission circuit with an increased voltage is formed by contact suspensions of neighboring paths. The expected effect from the implementation of such a system is to provide a nominal voltage level in the traction network with intensive high-speed movement, reducing the loss of electrical energy in the power supply system, reducing the inductive and electrical influence on adjacent devices, reducing the inductive resistance of the traction network. This effect is achieved without the construction of additional linear devices in the traction network.
