Abstract
Indian IT sector is considered as the most employment potential sector as it currently accommodated 4 million employment opportunities directly and 1.3 crores opportunities indirectly. It is expected that, this sector will provide 1,70,000 new jobs in the financial year of 2017 and going to create 2.5 to 3 million jobs by 2025. The IT firms identified the importance of employee and employer relationship management and the existing exchange policies which leads to the stable operations in the IT sector. Furthermore, it also noticed that the employee engagement is one of the key factors in enriching the performance of individual employees. This context provides a valid reason to understand the current employee engagement practices in Indian IT sector.
