DEVELOPMENT TRENDS OF THE NON-CONTACT NFC TECHNOLOGY

The characteristic of the wireless NFC technology is presented in the article, the categories of NFC supplements in mobile phones, operating modes are described. Interaction of the wireless NFC technology with other devices, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, contactless smart card is considered. The advantages of mobile payment on the basis of the wireless NFC technology in comparison with payment by plastic card, both for the buyer, and for the seller are described. The research object is the wireless NFC technology. The problems interfering wide use of the object are the conflict of interests between banks and mobile to operators; development of card infrastructure; lack of the developed infra-structure of NFC; not rather developed legislative base and safety of system. The purpose of the work is to reveal the main tendencies of development of the wireless NFC technology. As tendencies in the sphere of NFC there was a parallel development of services on the basis of smart cards and mobile devices where the smart card or the mobile phone with the integrated NFC chip turn into multi-purpose devices, acting as means of payment (virtual purse), means of identification of the owner, key, bonus card, ticket.
