Abstract

Abstract. Reforms of higher medical and pharmaceutical education are currently being realized against the backdrop of active introduction of distance technologies. This allows to expand the possibilities of the educational process, improve the quality of education significantly. Transition from occasional professional development of a doctor (1once in 5 years) to continuous training and credit system of its assessment places high demands on the individual motivation for professional development doctors qualification level, self-assessment abilities, introspection, self-awareness. The modular principle of learning involves separation each discipline on logically closed blocks, called modules, within which passes as the study of new material and verification activities its assimilation. Modules are credits (loans.). E-education involves the mandatory introduction of databases and information and communication networks, the presentation of high requirements for self-discipline of students, as well as to the technical support of the educational process. However, you may notice a number of limitations when practicing practical skills, there is a problem with the identification of the user during remote control. Department of Microbiology of Ryazan State Medical University carries out postgraduate training of medical, bacteriologists with the use of electronic distance educational resources. Employees of the Department prepared 4 additional professional training programs with the intensity of 36 hours, registered on the portal of higher medical and pharmaceutical education on the topics: «Actual aspects of determining sensitivity to antimicrobial drugs», «Microbiology of particularly dangerous infections», «Microbiocenosis of epidemiologically significant objects of the environment», «Laboratory diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections». Taking into account the positive and negative aspects of e-learning and distance learning technologies in the system of continuous medical and pharmaceutical education contributes to their rational and adequate application, development in the right direction.
