Information Potential of Archival Documents on Capital Construction Issues at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1946-1960

This article describes a set of archival documents, which lights up the issues of post-war capital construction in the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. The sources were classified and analyzed by author in according with the characteristic features of the construction process. The special attention is given to the selected group of documents affecting the preparatory stage of construction - financing, preparation of estimates, the allocation of land and the work of contractors. The most numerous groups on documents inform on the course of construction works and transfer of buildings to academic institutions. A separate group of sources is devoted to the problem of housing development of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
