QUALIFICATION OF CRIMES IN THE SPHERE OF COMPUTER INFORMATION

In the paper the author reviews the main issues pertaining to the qualification of computer crimes under the criminal code of the Russian Federation. The author considers different approaches to the issue suggested by law theorists. Special emphasis is laid on the qualification of fraud associated with the use of information technologies. The author makes a conclusion and provides his own vision of the issues considered.
