MEDIA TEXT – THE CONTENTIOUS SPACE

In the modern political and socially oriented discourse there is a significant growth of neologisms pre- fixed with anti. The aim of this study is the cognitive specificity of the motives-the concept of anti, which means a certain dissimilarity with the generally accepted understanding of social phenomena, with its help the idea of opposing stereotypes established in the public consciousness is expressed. "Conflict" vocabulary, formed with the help of anti formant, expresses personal opinion, evaluation, judgment, which is one of the main speech prac- tices of media text. Media "wars" are an integral feature of modern discursive reality, and confrontation is one of the main linguistic and pragmatic characteristics of media discourse
