The following article considers the factors that affect social tensions which, on their part, threaten social security provision. Based on the analysis of social policy guided by the principles of the provision of qual- itative services and creation of equal opportunities for socially insecure categories of citizens, the author empha- sizes that one of the main priorities have been the social protection of children and families in difficult life situa- tion, as well as people with disabilities and senior citizens
