THIN-LAYER FIRE PROTECTION OF METAL STRUCTURES

The article describes the features of thin-layer fire protection, briefly shows the work mechanism of the fire-protective paints as specific transformable coatings and their behavior at different moments of the coating operation. The prospect of using thin-layer fire protection for modern metal structures is substantiated, and the question is raised of revising the existing standards to bring them in line with modern and advanced building materials.
