Abstract
Features of transients at emergency shutdown of pump units from a power system and self-start are shown, the techniques allowing to define optimum modes of self-start are given. The results of experimental studies carried out at the pumping units of reclamation pumping stations are presented. Technical solutions for the modernization of pumping units, allowing the use of self-starting mode at reclamation pumping stations are proposed.
