Abstract
Today, social networks represent a huge database with a variety of structured information about their users, which could be available to almost everyone. To implement an effective analysis of social networks, a number of quantitative and qualitative concepts are used. In the virtual space, we deal with social networking services, online communities, virtual communities, and groups. The modern social networking service is a specific website or other Web service that facilitates the creation of a public or semi-public questionnaire, a list of users with whom they have a direct link, as well as their own list of links and lists of other users. Modern domestic libraries actively borrow the experience of foreign colleagues. Leading libraries of Ukraine actively use the opportunities of network technologies in order to improve the forms of information and library services for users, providing access to their funds and various Internet resources. Today, librarians are very active in social networks - a type of mass media that uses a set of online technologies to artrange communication between Internet users. The most significant among them - social networks and blogs. Modern networking projects help speak and find listeners, provide an opportunity to communicate with a wide range of interesting people, keep in touch with friends and family. The network sets itself the task of each individual moment to remain the most modern, fast and aesthetic way of communicating on the network. Anyone can create interest groups to advertise their business, communicate and share information with like-minded people. Social networks and general Internet resources have recently become closely integrated into everyday life of practically every person. More than half of the world’s population deals with social networks, legal entities and individuals in one way or another interconnected with the help of Internet resources; it could be proved with the fact that most people do not imagine their life without social networks.
