Abstract
In an article is told about the history of decoration forms of decorative-applied art of Azerbaijan. Should be noticed among them Jug (XVI – XV century), Bowl (XIII – IX century), Painted Jug (XIII – IX centu- ry), Black Vessel (VIII – VI century), Red Vessel (III – I century), Rhyton with a deer head (II – I century), Cup (I – III), Vessel (II half a century), Black Bowl (II century), Ceremonial Vessel (II half a century), Bowl ( first half of II century) and etc. Ceramics of various shapes and functions are remembered for their superficial beauty and dynamic decor, aesthetics of stylization of the sun, zigzags and wavy lines, etc
