THE PRODUCTIVITY AND NATURAL RESISTANCE OF HOLSTEIN DESCENDANTS IN TERMS OF THE NORTHERN KAZAKHSTAN

The results of researches on growth and development, the hematologic indicators, natural resistance, reproductive ability, milk production ability of the Holstein cattle imported from Canada to the north of Kazakhstan are presented. The results of an assessment on growth and development showed that heifers of the second generation to 18 months were superior to old cows in growth, breast development, but were inferior to bones development. The indicators of reproduction function improved due to reduction service period at cows of home-generation.
