Demographic crisis in Ukraine: causes and ways of its extension

The substantive measures and mechanisms for overcoming the demographic crisis in Ukraine are grounded. The main causes of population depopulation were identified, among which high mortality rate was defined as low birth rate, aging population "bottom", environmental pollution, migration, underdeveloped medical system, low income. The statistics collected and summarized are based on a tendency that shows the average life expectancy of the countries of Eastern Europe and Ukraine, the average life expectancy in the regions of Ukraine, and the human development index of neighboring countries. The present state of the family, which has acquired a modified form in recent years, and the dissemination of the chaildfri movement propagating young couples, are explored. It is outlined in the near future demographic policy of the state, which should prevent depopulation of the population of Ukraine.
