# Algorithm for calculation of heat and hydraulic operating modes for tube gas heaters with protective screen

### Abstract

Problem formulation. The work is devoted to the mathematical modeling and calculation of the thermal and hydraulic regime of tube gas heaters. The use of such heaters in relatively low spaces is contrary to the requirements. Screens are used to reduce heat radiation from tube gas heaters. But the interaction of thermal and hydraulic regimes is complicated due to the calculation of the operation of such heaters. Recently research analysis. There are scientific results in the mathematical modeling of tube gas heaters without additional screens. This results can be taken as a basis for the development of mathematical models and algorithms for calculating heaters with a thermal radiation screen. Purpose. The authors set the goal to develop a mathematical model of a tube gas heater with a screen from radiation of the heater. The screen should reduce the radiant component of the heat flow from the heater and increase the heat output by convection. The algorithm should provide calculation of the thermal and hydraulic mode of the heater, taking into account the mathematical model as a hydraulic circuit with distributed parameters. Conclusions. The mathematical model of the tube gas heater with the screen from the enhanced thermal radiation is presented. The algorithm of calculation of thermal and hydraulic mode of the heater with the screen is developed. Using this algorithm, an example of calculating the thermal and hydraulic mode of the heater with a screen is made and a comparison of the mode of operation of the heater with a screen and a heater without a screen is made. The positive properties of a tube gas heater with a screen for heating in relatively low premises are clearly presented.
