Abstract

Viral hepatitis may occasionally manifest with acute pancreatitis. Usually the patient presents with abdominal pain in the second or third week of illness. Hepatitis A or E viruses are mostly implicated. This is a case report of a young male presented with acute Hepatitis E infection with pancreatitis and prolonged cholestasis. Patient was managed conservatively and had uneventful recovery
