Abstract

Spinal canal is a rare location of hydatid disease. We report a case of primary intraspinal hydatid cyst of the dorsolumbar region causing spinal cord compression. A 45 years old female presented with paraplegia and flank pain and the diagnosis was established preoperatively by MRI which was confirmed post operatively and with Histopathology.
