Abstract

The article was wrien to the 80th anniversary of the Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher School of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Krupnov – the creator of the system-functional approach to the study of personality traits. It presents data on the scientific path of the scientist, his scientific interests in the field of differential psychophysiology, general psychology and personality psychology and reveals the contribution to these branches of psychological science. The main guidelines of the holistic approach of A.I. Krupnov to the study of personality are presented; his developed model for a holistic analysis of psychomotor, intellectual and communicative actions of a person; holistic, systemic structure of personality, including various formations, characteristics and traits, manifes ted in actions , activities and communication; classification of the main characteristics and character traits that differ in functional purpose. The development of a systemic-functional approach to the consideration of human actions is mentioned about the speech of N.A. Fomina, who proposed the scientific concept of the systemic study of personality manifestations in speech and developed a technique for multicomponent text analysis as a product of speech activity. Much aention is paid to the consideration of the developed system-functional model of the analysis of personality traits. The concept of the system-functional nature of characteristics and their diagnostics is disclosed, according to whi ch the internal s truc ture of each characteristic consists of instrumentaldynami c and motivational - semantic components that ensure the readiness and constancy of the intentions of the subject to implement various relationships. The relevance, theoretical and practical significance and productivity of the scientific approach of A.I. Krupnov to the study of personality traits, which opens up broad opportunities for determining their strengths and weaknesses and developing scientifically based programs for their development and correction, have been substantiated. The list of theses wrien in accordance with the scientific approach of A.I. Krupnov under the guidance of N.A. Fomina has been provided.
