Abstract
Biomarker is a parameter which is used to measure the progress of disease or the effects of treatment and evaluated as an indicator of normal biologic processes, pathogenic processes or pharmacologic responses to a therapeutic intervention. Different types of biomarkers are used in diagnosis as well as prognosis of diseases of cancer.
