UNIQUE CASE OF FOUR DIFFERENT PRIMARIES OF RESPIRATORY EPITHELIUM-CASE REPORT

Abstract

A 72 years male presented with metachronous carcinoma at 4 different sites over the period of 6 years and was effectively managed by radiation. CASE REPORT: The patient is a known smoker, diagnosed as a case of squamous cell carcinoma of right vocal cord T1N0M0 and was treated alone with radiation on 2006. On regular follow-up he found to have polypoidal growth of trachea which was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma on 2008, which also treated with radical radiation. On follow-up he found to have complete resolution of both primaries. On 2011 he found to have squamous cell carcinoma of right nasal cavity lesion. It was a T4 lesion and was inoperable for which he received radiotherapy. Shortly he was found to have lung nodule of right upper lobe which was found to be a fourth primary. As he was inoperable and not fit for chemotherapy, he was treated with radical radiation. In lung also he had complete response. Patient is on regular follow-up and doing well
