New classification of hazardous areas

Regulatory requirements on the classification of hazardous areas are considered. Comparative analysis of classes according to existing standards is conducted. New classification of hazardous areas is presented and explana¬tions to the places of their occurrence are presented. Features in determining the geometric dimensions of zones are marked. Comparison of categories of fire-explosion of premises with classes of hazard zones is made.
