Abstract
In this article the linguistic and cultural type of the Highlander is described. This article is done on the basis of materials portraying the Highlander of the XV–XIX centuries. The main characteristics of the Highland- er image are revealed. This article provides information about the Highlander, that allows to create a model of its linguistic and cultural type
