Contracts for the performance of works on research, development and engineering

The article concerns the analysis of the civil law contracts for the performance of works on the research, development and engineering that found its consolidation and legal regulation in chapter 38 of the Civil Code of Russian Federation. The author consistently examines the notion of the above contracts, their elements and content. The author also refers to the issues of parties, liability for non-performance or improper performance of their duties stated in such agreements.
