A Library as Universal of Information and Сommunication Сenter of Dissemination of Legal Knowledge Among Local Community

In the article experience of regional and loca libraries is considered within the framework of library-informative service by legal resources. Attention is focused on cooperating of libraries with local government, justice and law enforcement authorities, educational institutions, public organizations bodies in legal knowledge issemination among a population. The role of libraries is really only one underlined because libraries are almost one and only institution deals with popularization of legal education among local community. Forms and methods of libraries educational activity to enhance forming of legal consciousness and overcoming legal nihilism of local communities. Taking into account experience accumulated by Ukrainian libraries in dissemination of legal knowledge among local communities, forming of legal consciousness and culture, it could be concluded that providing of legal information had became kind of prioriry for libraries, they respond quickly to changing trends, meet challenges, confidently become the meaning element of public space, inalienable institution that forms Ukrainian society.
