Why do people lie?

The purpose of this article is to identify the propensity to use lies in student youth. Based on the theoretical analysis and observations, several reasons for the lies were found, for which the questionnaire questions were compiled. The result of the analysis of the answers is the fact that most students are not afraid to use a lie as a means of protecting their interests, obtaining social approval or material gain. Lies are still, like many years ago, functioning in the interpersonal communication of people and remain one of the main ways to achieve success.
