WORKS WITH HISTORICAL IMAGES FROM THE CYCLE “AZERBAIJAN – THE COUNTRY OF ANCIENT CULTURE” BY ELMIRA SHAKHTAKHTINSKAYA

The article analyzed and described some works by the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya from the cycle “Azerbaijan is a country of ancient culture”. The author draws particular attention to the pictures of the historical figures of Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya and especially dwells on the paintings devoted to the depiction of such historical figures of the East as Mehseti Ganjavi, Alisher Navoi, Safieddin Urmavi, Nasireddin Tusi, Ajemi Nakhichevani and others
