Abstract
In the review, the content of the scientific-practical conference with international participation “Soci- ology and Social Work: Modern Educational and Research Practices” is described. Reports on research direc- tions were noted, which aroused great interest of the participants. It is emphasized that this conference testifies to the successful results of the 30-year development of the sociological faculty of Samara University as a center for scientific sociological research and a center for the training of professional sociologists
