Modeling of decision-making in the maintenance system of vehicle based on mathematical methods of the theory of fuzzy sets

Abstract

Modern mathematics allows to solve the problems associated with subjective perception, an ambiguous assessment of the human environment and decision-making in fuzzy conditions. The theory of fuzzy sets allows to operate with a mathematically fuzzy representation of concepts that have qualitative and subjective characteristics. Unlike traditional mathematics, which requires precise and unambiguous formulations of laws at each step of modeling, fuzzy logic is at a completely different level of thinking, due to which only a minimal set of laws should be determined in the modeling process. Therefore, the relevance of research is associated with the need to use modern mathematical models that reflect the fuzzy nature of the interaction of a vehicle in the maintenance system. Purpose. It is optimal to distribute vehicles between the control posts of the maintenance and repair zone in accordance with the principle of combining the possibility of the posts of the zone and the level of the technical condition of a vehicle, comprehensively take into account the equipment of the posts in the maintenance and repair zone, as well as reduce vehicle downtime in the maintenance and repair zone. Conclusion. Because of the mathematical methods of the theory of fuzzy sets, a plant manager can model and optimally distribute vehicles between the posts of the maintenance and repair zone in accordance with the principle of combining capabilities and desirability, comprehensively take into account the equipment of the posts in the maintenance and repair zone and the technical condition of a vehicle, as well as reduce a scheduled downtime vehicle in the maintenance and repair zone.
