RESEARCH DEVELOPING IN INDIAN UNIVERSITIES: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF PUBLICATION IN SCOPUS

Abstract
The paper analyzed the characteristics of articles citations by Indian Universities during 2017- 2019. The data were retrieved from the leading database Scopus. In this study, the developing of research publication citations in Indian Universities is analyzed. Indian Universities covered include 20 central and 237 state universities. The study shows that Delhi University publication is received more citations 14962 with an average citation per year of 7481comparing to other central universities and in-state Punjab University received 7671 with an average citation per year 3835.50
