Abstract

Möbius forms, named so by American researchers from Columbia University E.A. Watkins and D. Stark due to the fact that their facilitators seek to increase their wealth by using (co-optation) assets not belonging to them.An increasing spread of non-traditional types of business and the activity of entities, using new techniques, defines the objective of the paper, which is to identify prospects of Möbius forms as an economic phenomenon and general actors, using its effects. The subject of the study is the relationship of general actors represented by independent social and economic subsystems that affect the functioning of a national economy. General actors can belong to the micro-level (business entities), to the mesoscale (industries or regions) or to the macro-level (President, Government, other authorities) or even be located outside the country - in the case of "external economic management" options. The paper shows that Möbius forms exist not only due to their IT-technological essence, as American authors suggest. The history of the phenomenon is much deeper than the current situation with its use by Amazon Best Buy stores, the tacit involvement of Google users in decrypting texts of digitized books, and the existence of weather television channels based on synoptic information provided free of charge by government services. And the spread of the phenomenon is much wider. The most important in a type of Möbius economy is the confrontation between business and the state, leading to three events: State Capture, balance of power or Business Capture.
