STATE DUMA’S ELECTIONS OF THE 8TH CONVOCATION. FORECAST OF POLITICAL SYSTEM’S STABILITY

Predicting the results of the elections to the State Duma of the VIII convocation and possible reactions of the Russian society to them, it allows us to get an idea of the potential threats to the stability of the political system of Russia and start a discussion on ways to minimize risks. This article analyzes the results of the elec- tions to the State Duma of the VII convocation in 2016 and their potential impact on the Parliamentary elections of 2021. The emphasis in this work will be focused on making a forecast of the balance of power in the State Duma of the VIII convocation. This article also considers options for possible reactions of the Russian political system to the outcome of elections to the State Duma as a factor affecting the stability of the existing political order
