Effect on Structure and Dielectric Properties of Ba substituted PbTiO3 Ferroelectrics

Abstract

Barium substituted PbTiO3 ferroelectric materials have been prepared by solid state reaction method by using high energy ball milling method. X-ray diffraction data confirms the tetragonal structure of the material with P4mm symmetry. Microstructure studies were done by using scanning electron microscope. Temperature and frequency dependant dielectric studies were carried out. With increase of Ba content dielectric constant and Curie temperature has been decreased.
