QURAN AND ATTRIBUTE OF ALLAH “SPEECH” (KALAM)

The article highlights the theme of dogmatic theology, namely faith in the holy scriptures. Thus, faith in the scriptures is one of the pillars of “iman” a (faith) in Islam. Since the Qur'an is one of the scriptures sent to Muslims by the Almighty and at the same time is considered the speech of Allah. In this regard, the article also covers issues related to the speech attribute of Allah. Herein, the lexical and terminological meanings of some terms that are directly related to the Qur'an and such an attribute of Allah as Speech are analyzed. The methods of sending down the Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad are described. In addition, isafet combinations (attribution) of things with Allah are highlighted. Information is given on the opinions of representatives of various directions, sects, groups and individual authoritative scholars of Islam regarding the essence of the Qur'an. The author analyzes the views and arguments of the Ahl al-Sunnah and the non-traditional (mubtadi) sects on the Qur'an. In addition, the article highlights the question of the unsurpassed nature of the Qur'an (I'jaz al-Qur'an). The bick- ering of the gentiles (Mushriki) with the Prophet Muhammad about the Qur'an is given. Opinions of representa- tives of Qiblah people (Ahl-l-Qiblah) about the unrivaled nature of the Qur'an are provided. In addition, the dif- ference of the speech of Allah from the words of creations are analyzed
