Results: Results of the study showed that there was reduction in the HBA1c levels in both the groups and was more prominent in Group A (Scaling and Root planing + Hyaluronic acid). Conclusion: It can be concluded that both the groups showed clinically significant outcome and that local application of hyaluronic acid showed significant improvement in HBA1C levels at the end of 6 months.
