Від спокуси до розбрату : концепт FITNA в дискурсі «Арабської весни»

The article analyzes one of the Arab cultural constants — the concept of fitna. In achieving a communicative aim of fending off an intragroup conflict, typical for a fitnacentered discourse, fitna, as a concept grounded in both religious and historical discourses and the foundational texts of Arab and Islamic culture, functions as a significantly more persuasive argument compared to such internationalisms as civil was (harb ahaliyya) or anarchy (fawda).
