Abstract
The article examines the current state, the formation and development of medical and health tourism, the features and prospects for its development in Azerbaijan are studied. The author, having studied the theoretical bases of the development of health tourism, the world experience in this field, conducted an analysis of state regulation and directions of development of this sphere in Azerbaijan.
