Abstract

Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) is a program of world Health Organization (WHO), which is designed with an aim to save the under-five and neonatal population of the world from easily preventable diseases which are responsible for an average seven out of ten deaths in the pediatric population. Nearly nine million children under five years of age die each year out of which 6.6 million children under 5 years of age had died in 2012 only, mostly from preventable causes
