Abstract

This research paper has examined the e-commerce implantation results in Kuwait to identify its prospects and potentials. This research paper is based on examining the statistical significance of impacts on firms’ performance after implementation of e-commerce solution in business organizations in Kuwait. This research study attempts to reduce the gap in the available literature by examining the linkages between external factors and their influence on the impact of e-commerce implementation on firm performance in Kuwait in particular and GCC nations in general. It identifies key issues in e-commerce implementation at micro level. This research paper on the basis of analysis of data through multiple measures of association and SPSS exact testand subsequently through tests of hypothesis, and the analysis of implementation results and test of research hypothesis, the existence of a very clear relationship between impact of e-commerce implementation and factors that influence these results e.g. size of the firm, type of e-commerce solutions, have been identified. All these have resulted in identification of statistically significant impacts of e-commerce implementation on firm’s performance in Kuwait.
