DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH SYSTEM IN THE GRODNO REGION FROM THE TWELFTH CENTURY TO THE PRESENT TIME AS A SOCIO-HISTORICAL BASIS FOR A CORPORATE CULTURE

The problem of the effectiveness of health systems is one of those problems that always remain relevant. The purpose of the work was to analyze the historical transformation of health system in Belarus using the example of the Grodno region, from the first mention in history to the present time. The method of historical analysis is applied to assess healthcare system. It is revealed that the territory of Grodno region has historical experience of at least three models: public, state, insurance medicine, as well as elements of private model of healthcare. Its experience of progressive development in such different models of health financing can be seen as a socio-historical basis of world health workers, flexible corporate culture of healthcare, a potential willingness to reform.
