Abstract
The condition necessary for occurrence of whirlwinds is noted. The engineering model of whirlwind and the flow generating it as two closely interacting objects is proposed based on conservation laws. The sources of destructive power of tornado are explained. The method for tornado control is proposed. Analytical dependencies connecting the parameters of whirlwinds with the environmental characteristics are obtained. Concrete calculation examples are given.
